For those who don't know yet, I started my own clothing brand, "Deathray of Sunshine", with established designers, Junkytees, in August 2009, and has been generating a lot of buzz in Dallas. Soon, you will be able to find Deathray of Sunshine tees in boutiques and unique shops around the Metroplex. Each tee design is hand printed on top quality cotton shirts. (I'm all about high quality cotton for my brand.) Each design is also printed in limited edition runs. I like to think of my designs as wearable art, and not just another shirt.

In addition to my 'Deathray of Sunshine' line that you can find online at Junkytees.com, and coming soon to a few select clothing shops around Dallas, I'll also be offering my "Deathray Select" line, limited edition tees hand printed exclusively by me on high quality, vintage style and/or organic cotton tees. The 'Deathray Select' line will only be availe through my website and at The Soda Gallery. You can expect to find production runs of less than 50 of each design. Below are the first two designs coming soon...

This one is printed on Alternative Apparel's 100% cotton "Destroyed tee". It's a slim, men's fit, short sleeve, solid color tee, where the collar, sleeve and bottom hems are worn and tattered with a special machine to create a uniquely worn and deconstructed look. It's a super-soft tee, one you'd probably want to sleep in...the design is based on what I think a French copy of The Velvet Underground's "White Light/White Heat" 45 sleeve would probably look like, if one actually exists.

Dennis Hopper has been one of my favorite people/actors/artists since I was a kid. The man is scary, brilliant, genius, rebellious and so-on and so-on. I'm turning him into wearable art. It's like a fine art print, although you can take it out in public and show it off.
Again, these tees will be debuting soon online and at The Soda Gallery (for the time being.) New designs are in the works. 2010 is looking to be a very fruitful year...
